Who we are
This website belongs to Dr. Ronnie Borsuk Plastic Surgery, Unit 306, 770 Broadview Avenue, Ottawa, ON K2A 3Z3. As a physician’s practice in Ontario, we protect personal health information as required by Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
What we collect through this website
When you send us a message using the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the procedure you’re interested in, and your message. Please don’t include detailed medical information in the form. We’ll go over your history in person.
Like most websites, our web server automatically logs basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use these only to keep the site secure and working properly.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, book a consultation.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Where it’s stored
Contact-form messages are sent by email to our office and a copy is kept in the website’s secure administration area, which only authorized staff can access. We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Cookies and outside services
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers. If we add a visitor-statistics service in the future, we’ll update this policy.
Before-and-after photos
Every patient photo on this website is published only with that patient’s documented written consent. Photos are edited only to protect privacy.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information you’ve sent us through this website. Contact us at admin@ottawacosmeticsurgery.ca or 613-728-5807. If you have concerns about how we’ve handled your information, you can also contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
