Whatever brought you here, you belong here

Bariatric surgery, GLP-1 medications, pregnancy, or steady lifestyle change — the path that got you to this point doesn’t determine which procedures are available to you. What matters is where the excess skin is, and how significant it is. This guide is organized by body area, not by weight-loss method.

Start with where the skin is

Abdomen

Below the navel only, with good upper-abdomen tone → a smaller procedure may be enough. Above and below the navel, or with separated muscles → a more complete procedure. Primarily a hygiene/comfort issue rather than a cosmetic one → a medical option may apply.

Arms

Loose, hanging upper-arm skin that persists despite exercise.

Thighs

Excess inner-thigh skin causing chafing or discomfort.

Upper back & bra line

Rolls or bulges at the bra line or mid-back.

Lower back & buttocks

Excess skin lower on the back, or buttocks that have flattened or sagged.

Multiple areas at once (front, back, flanks, buttocks)

A comprehensive, circumferential approach.

Abdomen and breasts together (often post-pregnancy)

A combined approach addressing both areas in one plan.

Breasts — position, volume, or both

Sagging with good volume → repositioning only. Lost volume with minimal sagging → added volume only. Both → combined.

A rough overview

Single Area

One targeted procedure addressing your primary concern

Front + Back

Combining abdominal work with a back lift

Full Circumference

A body lift addressing the whole torso

Multi-Region

Staged procedures across several areas over time

This is a starting point, not a diagnosis

Only an in-person assessment can determine the right plan for your specific anatomy. This guide exists to help you walk into that consultation already understanding your options — not to replace the conversation.
